Breaking the Wheel...or Creating a Beautiful Disaster...

Dear Poet or Writer,

Much like the five-week-old carton of rotting milk sitting in the back of the fridge, this poet/writer has too long ignored her own writing. So in the midst of working on an unfinished novel, I decided to expand this e-press into publishing something I've always been a fan of reading: multicultural literature. It's rare to see a press publish both high and "low" brow works. Especially to do so exclusively online. But then again, the I've always been an odd phoenix.

So in the off season of closed submissions, the press will be undergoing some major reconstruction. Most of it will be internal: instituting a style sheet, drafting sample contracts, finally adding job descriptions to the internships, et cetera. This may take up to the full year I specked doors will remain closed (or it may be sooner). In any case, I ask that you wish me well in this strange of growth journey.

And as always, keep writing...

Submissions are CLOSED until further notice...

Dear Poets and Literati,

We have decided to close our doors "indefinitely". The Editor-in-Chief & Founder has decided to focus on her career as a writer rather helping others to succeed in theirs. Helping others gain notoriety in the literary world is a noble thing. But it requires more dedication than the Founder anticipated, and she now finds that her own works are not getting the attention they need as well.

We will continue to keep the website active, as we hope to be in operation in a year's time or so. But until then, keep writing!

All the best,

The Editorial Staff

Submissions are OPEN!

Submissions are open until August 31st! That means we're looking for poetry that rips at the raw edge of reality, is filled with duende, and fills the infinite white landscape of pages everywhere. So where's your chapbook!

We dare you to submit...
